The reception of Kirby Star Allies is looking to be pretty favorable over in Japan! According to Gematsu's Media Create sales for the week, the game sold over 222,000 copies in the country in just five days. This debut is stronger than that of Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot, which sold 214,000 and 145,000 copies in their opening weeks respectively.

Similarly, according to GameIndustry.biz's chart data, Kirby Star Allies is the fastest-selling Kirby game in the United Kingdom's history! It takes the #2 spot in this week's UK video game charts, also beating out Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot in that department.

Cool to see that Star Allies is doing this well so far! It won't be long before we see sales data for the Americas, but if we had to predict what they'll look like, we have a feeling it'll follow suit of the other countries.
