Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe eShop page live, game file size 6 GB, pre-order now

Following today's September Nintendo Direct, the Nintendo Switch eShop page for Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe is now live. While the screenshots do not contain any new footage that was not featured in the Direct's trailer, the newly announced Kirby remaster's eShop page does detail the game's price and file size as pre-orders are available.

According to the Nintendo Switch eShop, Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe has a game file size of 6 GB. For comparison purposes, Kirby and the Forgotten Land had a download size of 5.8 GB while Kirby Star Allies stood at 4 GB (both prior to any updates).

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe is a remaster of Kirby's acclaimed mainline Wii title, Return to Dream Land. Released back in October of 2011, the original iteration of Return to Dream Land was the first mainline 2D Kirby game to appear on a Nintendo home console since the pink puff's last adventure on the Super Nintendo. In Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Bandana Waddle Dee help a mysterious figure named Magolor rebuild his ship the Lor Starcutter to stop Guardian Angel Landia.

With new sub-games and an art style featuring outlined characters, HAL Laboratory is seemingly going a step beyond with its efforts to bring Return to Dream Land to modern hardware.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe is now available for pre-order from the Nintendo Switch eShop. The game costs $59.99 USD, and those who pre-order the title in advance will receive 300 Gold Points.
