Yep, it’s him! The quintessential Kirby foe, Waddle Dee is here and ready for action! We don’t really need to say any more about everyone’s favorite fellow, do we?

The first enemy you’ll encounter in the game is the cycloptic Waddle Doo! He’ll try to hit you with his classic Beam whip, but you can throw it right back at him!

They’re back and just as grumpy as ever! Bronto Burt is a classic Kirby foe, and these flying critters will do everything they can to be annoying and in your face.

Aren’t these fellows adorable? Their teardrop-shaped bodies, their little bouncy antennae…things…well, either way, they’re just asking for a hug! But that’s how they lure you in for a nasty shock!

This guy thinks he’s just hot stuff, now, doesn’t he? Well, they all have affinity for fire. In fact, they’ll stop being hostile towards you if you have a Fire ability of your own! Just don’t tell them where you got it…

This bro is just so jolly and ready to have a good time! They can ride on apples and even Maxim Tomatoes! Better inhale them to get the fruit beneath, because attacking will destroy even the tastiest of treats!

One thing you always need to know about Dream Land is that food is as much of a danger as it is a friend! Apples thrown at your face? Those can hurt!

Don’t touch! Bad to touch! Gordos will hurt you, those spikes aren’t for show! These invincible enemies are best avoided at all costs.

Don’t spook these mushroom-like folk! They don’t take kindly to rude behavior. The most rude thing you can do, though, is eat their hat and leave them flailing around helplessly.

Where does this cannon keep all its cannonballs? That’s just another mystery that may never be answered, similar to the answer for what kind of indestructible metal these guys are made out of?

This knight has a cutter boomerang atop his head! He’ll throw it at you, and catch it like a real pro! Good thing Kirby doesn’t need practice when he copies Kibble’s techniques.

What’s a fish need goggles for, anyway? Perhaps their eyes never evolved to properly keep out water. Either way, they’re not very friendly towards Kirby!

So dirty! Even in a 32-bit game, Dream Land is just as unclean as ever. Good thing Broom Hatter’s on the case! They’re ready with their broom to sweep sweep sweep til you eat them.

This guy is a real master of the blade, through and through. And by through, I mean he’s gonna try to cut right through you! Don’t give him the satisfaction! You can overcome this swordsman!

This swordsman is ready to attack Kirby at a moment’s notice! Inhale him for a Sword of your very own, or just make fun of how hard his voice is to decipher. It’s your call.

These rotating heads are bad news. You’re gonna want to take them out quickly before their movement patterns become too much of a headache to handle!

You’ll find these fiery eyeball creatures rotating around the environment all of the time. Get near one and they’ll try to tackle you! You better tackle them right back, fight fire with fire! Er, Burning!

These hermit crabs are always ready to get where they’re going. They won’t stop until they get there! They just…never stop. It’s almost creepy how single-minded they keep going.

I have the feeling that these anemone fellows were named after the noise somebody made when not paying attention while underwater and accidentally walking into one.

Is this frog really worthy of the title ‘sir’? Well, it’s what he says he’s called, so we’ve got no choice but to trust him on this matter. Perhaps it has to do with how much he likes to jump.

These rolly boys are a real pain sometimes! Look at them, just inching around. Better not get poked by one! I hear that they enjoy hiding in haystacks, strangely enough.

Even the plants of Dream Land can be dangerous! Use a Parasol to avoid these explosive fruit from falling on your head!

One day, Waddle Doo decided to give up his life of eye beams and go parasol-head instead. Was it a good trade? That's debatable, but at least now he won't have to worry about falling off cliffs.

If you needed anything else to factor into Waddle Dee's peacefulness, just give them parasols to shield them from the sun! They'll float gently off of cliffs without a worry in the world.

Whether alone or dangling Waddle Dees or Doos, these Parasols are a crafty bunch. Coming equipped with a mind of their own, you better watch out! I wonder if Kirby’s Parasol also can think for itself...

The strangest thing about Scarfy isn’t how you can’t inhale them, and it’s not that they turn into enraged monsters when you try. No, what IS the strangest thing is that you never see them wearing scarves.

Bomb’s away! Stay out of reach of these explosive fellows, as being in their blast radius will hurt a lot, and they like walking off ledges!

These fellows love to spin around and cause a mess of things! Eat a Twister and you’ll turn into Tornado Kirby! Then you can spin together, how lovely!

When will enemies have more creative names than their species namesake spelled backwards? Probably when pigs fly.

Wheelie is, as you might have guessed, a wheel. What a shock! What I’m mainly wondering though is what happens if he needs to replace a tire?

The elusive UFO is a sight to behold! Who knew alien life was among us? Don’t get caught off guard by their sudden unexpected movements, however!

Beware even the slowest of stones, for they will squish you between a Rocky and a hard place! They like to hang out on ledges above you and drop on you like, well, a rock.

This floating orb has a very good aim. Maybe he should take up doing some sort of laser surgery and do some real good in the world! Or maybe he’ll just keep attacking Kirby. Probably the latter.

It’s time to take a quick little nap…or two… Or heck, let’s just all go to sleep for a good long while. These fellows have the right idea on how to make the world a better place, eh?

The Starman is not to be confused with any alien robots from the future, or rare invincibility power-ups! No, the Starman is a superhero here to jump high and look dashing!

Who doesn’t love penguins? Well, at the very least, penguins that aren’t trying to turn you into a Kirbycicle would probably be easier to appreciate. Pengis are still cool, though.

Whoever made these snowmen sure did a good job! Be careful, though, cause they’re alive and a bit feisty! They might do a good job turning you into an icicle!

This li’l ghost is just way too cool! What’s he even need sunglasses for in the dark? Either way, he’s a convenient source to make the rooms visible for you.

This bouncing ball sure has a bubbly personality! They’ll be bouncing all over the place, and you can join in too if you copy their Ball ability! Just don’t run into them, you won’t enjoy that.

Iiiiit’s Squishy! Everyone’s favorite squid is here to party! These happy little fellows will jump all around, having all sorts of fun!

The spawn of Heavy Mole can really mess up your day if you hit one at the wrong time. I really dig their cyclops look, personally. Pay attention to their coloration if you’re intending to swallow one!
