Kirby and the Forgotten Land's Nintendo Switch 2 Edition has a smaller file size than the original release

Even though Kirby and the Forgotten Land’s Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is getting a significant 4K resolution bump, 60 fps, and a whole new content expansion in the form of the Star-Crossed World, the Japanese Nintendo eShop has confirmed that the game’s file size will be shrunken down by just a smidge with its new-generation port.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land was originally 5.8 GB on Nintendo Switch. On Nintendo Switch 2, the game is only 5.7 GB.
While 100 megabytes isn’t much of a difference, it’s still important to remember that Nintendo and HAL Laboratory managed to upgrade Kirby and the Forgotten Land and add more content to the game without using more data!

That's pretty cool about the file size. It's amazing how they can optimize games like that. Makes you wonder what other surprises they have in store. I remember seeing some pretty strange glitches in older games, things you wouldn't believe, almost like crazy cattle 3d stampeding through the code.
