Originally drawn on an index card months ago by Kirby Informer's Co-Owner Marc, artist Ben Hall brings this legendary duel between three of Dream Land's greatest heroes to life.
Inspired by Kirby Super Star, Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, and Akira Kurosawa's iconic samurai films, this piece takes inspiration from several stories to form a design that is sleek, colorful, and minimalistic while paying proper tribute to its source material. From the calligraphy to the tense glares, every player who has experienced a round of any Samurai Kirby sub-game over the years will find plenty of clever details in this artwork.
The Pink Samurai - Short-Sleeve Unisex T-Shirt from Kirby Informer costs $21.00 (before shipping and tax) and ships globally. This shirt is made of 100% cotton and also comes in four different sizes. As of right now, it will be exclusively sold on Etsy (you can view the product listing by clicking this link!).
If our first product meets sales expectations, we are hoping to lower the costs for our next item once we start producing it! We do not plan on selling too many products, but we are going to try and keep what we produce available for as long as we can. All profits made from these graphic t-shirts will be used to continue keeping Kirby Informer's website open and fund giveaways on our social pages.
Additionally, we would like to note that matte art prints for The Pink Samurai will also be made available at a later date. Our team just received prototypes for the printed version, so we are not ready to share photos just yet! When more details are available, we will be sure to share them with you all on our website and, of course, on all our social pages!
