Masahiro Sakurai confirms Bandai Namco Studios is developing Kirby: Air Riders

At this point, can we even say we are surprised?

While Nintendo did not say who was developing Kirby: Air Riders during or after the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, Masahiro Sakurai has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm that he is once again working with Bandai Namco Studios on his latest project. Check out his post below!

Previously, Masahiro Sakurai's company, Sora Ltd., worked with Nintendo and Bandai Namco Studios to develop Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Kirby: Air Riders is being developed as an exclusive for Nintendo Switch 2 and will be released this year. When more details about the game are published, we will be sure to let you all know.
