Before anyone tells you that Kirby Air Riders isn't a huge deal, be sure to show them how Nintendo's official social media pages dedicated to the game have exploded in a single day.
To coincide with the announcement of the "Kirby Air Riders Direct" premiering tomorrow, Nintendo has debuted new X (formerly Twitter) pages for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive game.
While the English X page has gained quite a notable following in less than 24 hours since its launch, the Japanese account has arguably surpassed everyone's expectations. Take a look at how both accounts are currently doing below!

As of this article's publication, the official Japanese account for Kirby Air Riders has amassed over 188,000 followers, and that number is growing rapidly.
For comparison purposes, Kirby Air Ride for the Nintendo GameCube sold 422,311 copies during its entire retail run in Japan. The demand for a new Kirby game after Forgotten Land and a sequel to Air Ride after 22 years is substantial, to say the least — especially on Kirby's home turf!
Are you hyped for Kirby Air Riders? (a bit of a redundant question for someone reading a Kirby news site, but hey, maybe some of you aren't!) What do you think the page's mysterious new icon is? As more information about the game is released, we will keep you all updated!
