Todd Haberkorn confirmed as English story narrator in Kirby Air Riders

In the latest Kirby Air Riders Direct 2, Masahiro Sakurai unveiled a brand-new single-player mode titled Road Trip, along with its introduction movie. For the first time in a Kirby game, this opening cutscene notably included a long narration detailing how the world of Kirby Air Riders came to be.

Shortly after the Direct aired, voice actor Todd Haberkorn confirmed that he is the English narrator heard in the introduction, sharing a brief but evidently proud message on social media:

Haberkorn is best known for his roles as Keroro in Sgt. Frog, Allen Walker in D.Gray-man, Death the Kid in Soul Eater, and Baatar Jr. in The Legend of Korra.

Haberkorn won’t be the only voice actor featured in Kirby Air Riders. Mr. Sakurai also confirmed that every localized version of the game will include one male and one female announcer. While many of the voice actors have yet to be revealed, Mr. Sakurai specifically noted that the female Japanese announcer is none other than Makiko Ohmoto, the iconic voice of Kirby. Meanwhile, the male Japanese announcer, Banjo Ginga, previously voiced the N.M.E. Sales Guy from the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! anime series.

Congratulations, Todd! We can't wait to play Road Trip, and we hope to hear more from you in the game!
