The Kirby novelization series will be receiving two brand new entries this year in Japan based on Kirby and the Forgotten Land. While details about each book are currently sparse, it has been announced that the two novels will be split between the Nintendo Switch title's base game and post-game content.
In Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Start Running to the New World!, Kirby will meet up with Elfilin and embark on an adventure to stop the Beast Pack's evil plot. In the sequel, Break Out of the Dreams of the Isolated Isles!, Kirby will enter the Isolated Isles to presumably save Leongar's soul.
The Kirby novelization series is written by Mie Takase and illustrated by Tau and Poto Karino. Since its first release in 2013, the books have been published by Kadokawa Tsubasa Bunko. The last book in the series, released to celebrate Kirby's 30th anniversary, adapted the story of Kirby's Return to Dreamland (Kirby's Adventure Wii in PAL regions).
Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Start Running to the New World! will release next month on August 8th. The sequel, Break Out of the Dreams of the Isolated Isles!, will release just five weeks later on September 14th. Like the other Kirby novels, each book will span almost 200 pages and be available for ¥1,200.
